Ok Sugar is from the devil if you want to be fat then eat sugar. If you don’t want to be a fat ass then don’t eat fucking sugar. It’s just life. When you take the medications we do you get fat. I did. Now I take Topamax and it helped me down to a size 6 but I still don’t eat fucking sugar. N
No soda no fruit juices – drink water, teas and what ever else doesn’t have sugar
Stay away from fatty red meats – eat fish, chicken and turkey
Fruits, veggies
Try not to eat alot of foods that come in boxes. Eat fresh foods that you have to make.

Ok so many months later…………
I talked to my doctor and I got on Topamax and it has been amazing. I have dropped shitloads of weight.
I also quit drinking it has been over a year. I do drink non-alcoholic wine (not a bunch as it still has calories) and non-alcoholic beer from time to time.
I quit caffeine
I eat smaller portions
All of this is possible in part because of the topamax. Before the topamax my weight loss was slow and hard and almost impossible.
Besides the above I also stick to the below

I have been doing research over the last week in regards to my diet. A major side effect of just about every mood stabilizer is WEIGHT GAIN.
I have about 40ish pounds I need to loose.
So I have researched a dozen of pages and here is the skinny folks:
1. Limit Sugar
2. Eat Fruits
3. Eat Vegtables
4. Eat Lean Meats
5. Eat Fish
6. Eat skinless poultry
7. Limit Caffeine intake
8. Eat whole grains
9. Eat in Moderation
10. Get off your ass and exercise
Now you can also ask the doctor about Topamax – which I will do on Thursday. But I am also going to the the above things as well.
The 10 items will help in boosting your metabolism. Due to the medications that you may be on it is smart to get a regular test of your thyroid.
